Dr. Tom S.Sudela was the first OB/GYN to open a practice in the Rockwall/Rowlett area in 1987. For 40+ years he has strived to provide the most comprehensive, patient- centered and up to date care. He never forgets what an honor and privilege it is to provide your care. Dr. Sudela received his training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas where he practiced from 1980 to 1987. In 1987 he was asked to open and develop the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service at Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett. He is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and has a special interest in Non-invasive surgery and hormone management. He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Baylor Scott and White Ambulatory Surgery Center at Rockwall.

Rachel Sudela Colón, his daughter, has been a practicing Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for the past 14 years. A native Rockwallian, she began her career at Lake Pointe Medical Center followed by Dr. Sudela’s practice as a Registered Nurse. She later obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner’s degree from Texas Woman’s University at the Parkland campus in Dallas. Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as traveling and cheering on her boys in all of their activities.
